Designed with the student in mind, we encourage young leaders to commit themselves to excellence, which SLU defines as the ability to rise above self, circumstances, obstacles, change and the crowd. Patterned after leading Fortune 500 corporate leadership seminars, each student is exposed to comprehensive programs focusing on leadership skills such as time and life management, goal setting, dealing with conflict and difficult people, and developing a Christian worldview. Combining in-depth classroom lectures with accelerated learning, interactive workshops and in-the-field edutainment experiences, SLU spans the globe with four comprehensive programs. From the Smithsonian to the British Museum, the Louvre to the Vatican, SLU displays the dynamic role that faith has played in shaping the arts and the culture. All four of our programs are based on the belief that the greatest catalyst for personal development occurs through the people you meet; the places you go; and the books you read.

Vision of SLU
Dr. Jay Strack has spoken to over 15 million people, the majority being high school and college students across the nation and around the world. As an accomplished speaker for corporations and churches for over 35 years, Dr. Strack is known for his inspirational leadership training. Student Leadership University's power and strength rests in its effectiveness in cultivating, training, and awakening tomorrow's young leaders. SLU has successfully merged the classroom with "behind the scenes" experiences in Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, Washington, D.C., London/Paris/Normandy/Oxford, and Israel, thus providing a uniquely customized environment for learning. Students participate in both intensive classroom training and real-life experiences. Each successive year produces "ownership" of both information and inspiration. Students are able to stay updated throughout the year by visiting our website and downloading the latest articles on current issues and finding information about the latest trends in leadership.
You will notice that our logo is a graphic representation of an American Eagle. The Monarch of the Sky is proudly displayed throughout America's history. The majesty and grandeur of the Eagle has inspired humankind from Belshazzar of Babylon to Alexander the Great, from Caesar to Charlemagne, from Napoleon to modern day CEO's. In virtually every art form, eagles remain a favorite symbol of strength, honor, vision and stamina, those qualities synonymous with a leader. This is why SLU has chosen the Eagle looking toward the future.

Our vision is to train up a generation of leaders who will effectively engage their world on all levels with a contagious passion for Christ in a manner that is also full of both grace and truth.
