Your article on the Atkins diet was
interesting but severely limited in scope. It fails to recognize (as
do 95% of all "diet" programs) that everyone is different.
Everyone has a different metabolism.
Everyone needs fats, protein and
carbohydrates but in different ratios depending on their unique
metabolism.
Everyone needs to understand what are good
fats, good protein and good carbohydrates.
Everyone needs to understand what are bad
fats, bad protein and bad carbohydrates.
The Denmark study was seriously flawed and
to try and apply those findings to everyone is irresponsible. Instead
of highlighting the Atkins diet, the Student Leadership University
should take steps to help educate people about their unique metabolism
and how they need to eat to support their own health.
