17 June Saturday - Join us at JFK Airport in New York as we fly together to Venice, Italy

18 June Sunday - Tour venice and board our luxury liner, The Splendour of the Seas, and be prepared to be pampered Royal Caribbean style! Composed of 117 islands in the Venetian Lagoon and held together by a series of canals, Venice is like no other city in the world. Established more than 1,000 years ago by seafarers and Roman refugees, this magnificent city continues to be the heart of Italian culture as well as a mecca for hopeless romantics. First session tonight with Dr. Jay.

19 June Monday - Spend a quiet day at sea, reading, meeting new people, and exploring all that the Splendour has to offer. Attend private SLU lectures with Dr. Jay

20 June Tuesday - Cruise into Piraeus (Athens), the main port of Athens, the biggest in Greece, and one of the most important in the Mediterranean Sea. From here we will start the panoramic drive towards the centre of Athens (Acts 17:15). Climb up to the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and Erechteion Temples. Then, go to nearby Mars' Hill (or Areopagus) (Acts 17:22) where the Apostle Paul delivered his well-known sermon. Our tour continues with the highlights of modern Athens: pass by the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House, Presidential Palace, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Academy, the University and the National Library.

21 June Wednesday - Board our personal SLU coach for a guided tour through Ephesus, Turkey. Our guided walking tour will take you through one of the most magnificent excavations in the world. See the Odeon, the Fountain of Trajan, the five terraces of the Apartment House, the Steam Baths of Scolastika, the Temple of Hadrian and the impressive Library of Celsus. The library is adorned with columns and statues and is considered as one of the most magnificent ruins not only in the city, but also in the ancient world. The Grand Theater, where Paul preached, is the largest theater in antiquity with a capacity of 24,000 seats. You return to the buses through the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession.

22 June Thursday - Arrive in Iraklion, the capital city of Crete, rests on the side of a hill overlooking the Cretan Sea. The city is named after Hercules. Though a bustling metropolis, Iraklion is also the gateway to the nearby stunning ancient ruins of advanced civilizations. Bask on the glorious north coast beaches, socialize and people-watch in the cafes and restaurants of Plat-a Venizlou (Fountain Square), discover Crete's astonishing Minoan sites, and more. An abundance of new adventures are waiting for you.

23 June Friday - Arrive in Corfu, Greece, known as the "Emerald Island" because of its lush greenery and breathtaking beauty, Corfu is one of the hidden treasures of the Mediterranean. The second largest of the seven Ionian Islands, Corfu is just 593 square kilometers (368.253 square miles). Possessing an intense culture and unparalleled coastline, the island has provided endless inspiration for many artists and literary figures.

24 June Saturday - Enjoy another day at sea playing games, resting, and spending time with new friends. We will wrap up our trip with a private SLU lecture with Dr. Jay.

25 June Sunday - The ship docks this morning in Venice, Italy and today we leave behind the antiquities and romance of Europe and return to our land of freedom, the USA.
